Review: Beacon by Two Door Cinema Club

Beacon by Two Door Cinema ClubAm I wrong for actually not feeling anything about the new release by Two Door Cinema Club? The only thing I have in my head is this: if you liked Tourist History, you’ll probably like Beacon. The band, perhaps smartly, chose not to radically change anything in for their thirdsophomorebefore. There are still a couple of highlights, though: first single “Sleep Alone” is a lovely, moody drift, while “The World Is Watching” shows some promise. It is, also, sandwiched in between those other tracks – and that’s me needlessly padding this review, so… | 3/5
