“Get Lucky” by Daft Punk featuring Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers | So yeah, there’s a lot of hype surrounding the new Daft Punk record, Random Access Memories, from how it sounds groovier compared to their past stuff (as opposed to robotic, but that’s subjective); to how they’re launching it in, of all places, a rural town in Australia; to the build-up surrounding this song, “Get Lucky”. I’ve been hearing about this since yesterday, and only got around to writing about it today, but what the hell – I love myself a groovy thing, so why not?
